Most of our items are handmade to order by our small UK team. Because of this and for hygiene purposes, there are some exemptions to returns and exchanges. Please check our shipping and returns policy before placing your order. 

Our satin items are vegan friendly using quality satin. There is a lot of confusion around fabrics but here are some tips to help. The majority of silk is made via a cruel process involving silk worms. Satin is not a type of fabric, it is a weaving method. There are different types of polyester just like there are different types and qualities of silk. We use a quality polyester satin.

Our products can be used by people with all hair types – the benefits still apply. They are often just more beneficial to curly, afro and frizz-prone hair types due to their protective features.

The measurements of our bonnets relate to elastic around the head. Our standard sizes usually fit most people. We don’t offer refunds or exchanges for incorrect sizing so it’s important to measure around your head, in inches, where the elastic of the bonnet will sit, before ordering.

For safety purpose we recommend that bonnets are only worn by children aged 3+. If you decide to purchase a bonnet for a baby, you acknowledge that it is against our advice and will need to take all possible measures to ensure the safety of the child whilst using the bonnet, especially at bedtime. We recommend our baby satin head sheets instead.

You can wash all of your satin items. We suggest a delicate or hand wash. Please be aware that some wash products, particularly fabric conditioners can damage the fabric. Hair oils can also have a negative effect on the fabric and elastic. 

Elastic naturally stretches over time, this very rarely happens with our bonnets prematurely but if you find that it has happened within the first 2 weeks of your order and is not a result of damage caused by care, use or products, drop us an email and we will see if we can offer an elastic replacement for you. Postage costs are applicable. 

We recommend that the bottle is used for water and that if you do plan on using it for oils and leave in conditioner etc – that you clean the spray bottle thoroughly and regularly to prevent build up and bacteria. The bottle is empty ready for you to fill yourself.

Our TLC towel has been specially created to not only minimize frizz but to protect the hair. The organic cotton is extremely smooth and soft whilst the bamboo elements are fantastic for absorption but without drying out the hair. You can use the towel as you would to dry your hair with a traditional towel, for plopping, scrunching out excess water/ product or resting on your shoulders to protect your hair whilst it is drying or whilst you are getting ready.

When an order is submitted successfully, you will receive an order confirmation via email. If this does not happen and/ or you received an error message when attempting to check out, it is likely that the order did not go through. The most common reason for this is an incorrect address, be sure to check the address and include both billing and shipping addresses if they are different to prevent the order being rejected by the bank/ payment platform.
